Memories, are joys that we hold on to,
and those that we wish toforget and lose.
Bought forth just the other day,
I had wished for it to just decay
away, back into the depths of my head.
To remember once again,
The fondness of our adoration
That I so wrongly broke
Mens mentis - physical action,
I did indeed do so
Mens mentis - never with the intention
of harming you
Yet you deny being marred
And not once threw stones
of anguish, at my direction
We were one but never were our status one
Yet I was the subject of grievances and guilt
Thus I said those sorrowful words
As lovers we all hate to hear
In the hopes you will find one
Who will love you more my dear
